| Overview : Addendum I Amendment of the Technical Specification on some parts and technical clarifications for Supply and Delivery of Elevator Procurement Ref Number: ETH4077 Dear all Interested and Potential Vendors! We have reviewed the request for clarifications received from vendors and compared the request for clarification against our original specification. Finally, we are pleased to inform you that we have made the following amendments on the original specification. Therefore, this is to inform you that to consider the technical amendment when you prepare your offers. The amendments and technical clarifications made to the original Specification are presented as follows: - The shaft type should be RC concrete.
- The shaft had been built finished.
- We have specified the Shaft door Opening as: 1000mm x 2000mm. However, respective bidders are obliged to visit the site and can take their measurement and submit their offers accordingly.
- The door opening can alternatively be also telescopic (side opening). However, the measurement needs to be maintained as per the given measurement in our RFQ i.e. 800/.900.
- The RFQ document has specified the measurement of the top floor height as 5400mm (3600+1800). However, interested bidders can take their own measurement at site and can quote accordingly.
- We have made the amendment and has been cancelled the requirement for “Access control key”. Instead, bidders should quote” without access Control key”.
- The specification for Automatic evaluation system at the time of power failure should be supported by ARD only and bidders should take note when they prepare their Quotation.
- Due to the urgency of the needs of the equipment, the RFQ document has specified the mode of transport as “air freight” as originally specified in the RFQ document.
- The end user (beneficiary) of the equipment is a Governmental Organization located within Addis Ababa vicinity. Whenever, you need to visit the office, please let us you’re your interest through our email: info.procurementet@undp.org and we will arrange a gate pass or acess to the office.

Please note that ATLAS has following minimum requirements for password: - Minimum length of 8 characters.
