Introduction :

Background


UNDP is seeking the services of an interior and space design firm to execute the plans and meeting the furnishing needs that align with the vision of the Centre. [Layout plans and designs will be made available during the pre-bidding site visits]


UNDP Innovation Centre is located at United Nations Information Centre [UNIC] Office No 17, Alfred Rewane Road [formerly Kingsway Road], S.W. Ikoyi, Lagos (Lat: 6.44735640727°; Long: 3.42749079521°) Nigeria. The office seeks to upgrade audio/video systems in the main conference room.




SCOPE OF WORK


a) Review the open-design plans developed in phase 1 of the project which included space layout and suggested furnishing for the workspaces.

b) Present a plan for the kitchen and patio set up

c) Discuss with UNDP to deepen an understanding of the set-up of the kitchen area and patios.

d) Upon determination of the style, and colour preferences of the client, develop a preliminary selection of interior furniture, fittings, and finishes for implementation.

e) Present and review all schematic findings with UNDP, select final colours, furnishings, and lighting, including the design of the furniture/ finishing that aligns with the specific needs

f) Present samples on boards, including fabric to be used, other materials and overall design of decorative items and accessories, of high quality and environmentally friendly, for approval by the client 

g) Procure decorations and furnishes as per design and mood board.

h) Creatively provide and implement in detail, all planned designs, and specifications.

There will be a pre-bid conference for the prospective vendors at;

The bid conference will provide a platform for inspection of the current facilities and clarification of any information of interest by vendors.
