Introduction :

Provision of accommodation and conferencing services on Long Term Agreement (LTA) in Zambia


This tender will cover ten (10) lots further to locations, detailed as follows:

LOT 1: LUSAKA

LOT 2: SOUTHERN PROVINCE

LOT 3: COPPERBELT PROVINCE

LOT 4: CENTRAL PROVINCE

LOT 5: NORTHERN PROVINCE

LOT 6: NORTHWESTERN PROVINCE

LOT 7: WESTERN PROVINCE

LOT 8: EASTERN PROVINCE

LOT 9: LUAPULA PROVINCE

LOT 10: MUCHINGA PROVINCE

 

Each lot is divided into sub-lots according to “category” of service and “standing” or “capacity”.

i.e.

Under the “category” of ACCOMMOMATION & CONFERENCING SERVICE, the hotel “standing” could be:

-          5 stars hotel and above

-          4 to 3 stars hotel

-          2 to 1 star hotel

-          0 star hotel

 

Under the “category” of CONFERENCING SERVICE ONLY, the “capacity” of a conferencing center could be:

-          500 pax and above

-          100 pax to 499

-          40 pax to 99

-          5 pax to 39


Therefore, independent LTAs per sub-lot will be implemented as detailed below:

Amendment : Amendment 1: - Pre-bid meeting minutes attached. - For the sub-lot "accommodation and conferencing service/undivided", the key personnel "Butler" was amended and should now be read as "Hotel Manager". The qualification and experience requirements remain, however, as is and unchanged. In view of the above update, the below documents were amended and attached to the negotiation: - ITB "LTA accommodation and conferencing service", the updated position as "Hotel Manager" is reflected. - Section 5 "schedule of requirements", the updated position as "Hotel Manager" is reflected. - Form G "technical bids", the updated position as "Hotel Manager" is reflected.
