In this context, UNDP is looking for a national firm/organization to support the collection of data on socio-economic aspects of the IWWs in the plastic recycling value chain and then to enhance their working conditions. The objectives of this assignment are to collect data on socio-economic aspects of the IWWs in plastic recycling value chain then to enhance their working conditions such as fair remuneration, ethical labor, and labor rights according to agreed Responsible Sourcing Framework. To specify, the objectives are:
- Conduct socio-economic analysis of informal waste workers (IWWs) in the plastic recycling value chain. - Implement interventions to improve working conditions of informal waste workers. · This specific tender is managed via the new supplier portal system of UNDP.
