for a Firm for the Development an Open Access Spatial Planning System and Integrated Land Management Plan for the Republic of Mauritius


Dear Sir / Madam:


We kindly request you to submit your Proposal for Consultancy Services for the Development of an Open Access Spatial Planning System and Integrated Land Management Plan for the Republic of Mauritius under the Mainstreaming Sustainable Land Management and Biodiversity Conservation in the Republic of Mauritius project.

c. Objective of this consultancy 


The main objective of this consultancy is to develop an open access spatial planning System and integrated land management plan for the Republic of Mauritius. 

The specific objectives of this Consultancy are: 

 To facilitate the establishment of a cross-sectoral coordination mechanism to improve sustainable management, land use planning and integrated land management in the Republic of Mauritius. 

 To develop a structured, user friendly and practical open access spatial planning system to support sustainable and Integrated Land Management in the Republic of Mauritius. 

 To develop a knowledge-based Integrated Land Management Plan for the Republic of Mauritius. 

 To facilitate stakeholder engagement and consensus-building to ensure that the plan is acceptable to all parties.
