| Overview : The United Nation Development Programme (UNDP) in Uganda has launched a new project – Uganda for various reasons such as; weak institutional capacity, lack of skills in disaster risk management, lack of equipment for disaster risk management, limited financial resources and above all an economy which depends entirely on exploitation of its natural resources. Uganda’s economy is totally dependent on climate and therefore vulnerable to adverse effects of climate change.
UNDP Uganda therefore requires the services of qualified competent Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), private firms and institutions with proven expertise in the subject matter.
UNDP Uganda kindly requests the submission of proposals for "RFP - Community Risk Reduction and Climate Adaptation Planning and Implementation” as per the detailed requirements of this RFP (attached as PDF document). When preparing your proposal, please be guided by the form attached hereto as Annex 3.1, 3.2 form of which a Microsoft Word copy is attached for you convenience.
UNDP will hold a per-proposal conference on 13 August 2014 2:30pm at UNDP offices Plot 11 Yusuf Lule Road
Proposals may be submitted on or before 21 August 2014 at 05.00 p.m by following the submission instructions detailed in the solicitation document. |
