Perception Studies on Insecurity and Violent Extremism Drivers in Border Areas in the Sahel
Dear Mr./Ms.:
1. The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) hereby invites you to submit a Proposal to this Request for Proposal (RFP) for the above subject.
2. This RFP includes the following documents:
Section 1 – This Letter of Invitation
Section 2 – Instructions to Proposers (including Data Sheet)
Section 3 – Terms of Reference
Section 4 – Proposal Submission Form
Section 5 – Documents Establishing the Eligibility and Qualifications of the Proposer
Section 6 – Technical Proposal Form
Section 7 – Financial Proposal Form
Section 8 – Contract for Professional Services, including General Terms and Conditions
3. Your offer comprising of a Technical and Financial Proposal, in separate sealed envelopes, should be submitted in accordance with Section 2.
4. You are kindly requested to confirm your interest by email to the following address: senegal.procurement@undp.org, specifying in the object the following quote: “RFP1-Sahel/2014”.
5. The letter should advise whether your company intends to submit a Proposal and if not, we would appreciate your kind indication of the reason, for our records purposes. Please be further informed that transferring this invitation to another firm is not allowed without notification to UNDP.
6. Should you need further clarification, kindly communicate with the contact person indicated in the attached Bid Data Sheet duly assigned to handle all queries for this RFP.
7. In addition, agencies of the United Nations System in Senegal invite you, on Thursday 21th August 2014, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., to a pre-proposal conference to clarify and explain the contents of the bidding in order to ensure that all your questions were taken into account in the preparation of bids.
