| Overview : UNDP Vietnam seeks 01 qualified Senior International Expert for Comparative Study on summary procedure in judicial proceedings, in particular on civil case adjudication.
The objectives of this assignment are:
- to examine trends in legal theories and judicial procedures used in other countries/jurisdictions for imposing and applying judicial proceedings that take effect faster and more efficiently than the ordinary methods;
- to identify different models of summary procedures, types of claims and/or offences as well as the respective jurisdiction that summary procedure can be applied;
- to give policy recommendations on options for introduction of summary procedures, and more broadly options for possible revision of the Law on Organization of the Courts and procedural laws in Viet Nam.
The selection will be based on a competitive basis and will comply with UNDP procurement regulations. |
