Description of the assignment: Under the general guidance of the National Project Director (PREPARE Project) and Senior Program Specialist / UNDP, the International Consultant will extend technical inputs (including providing orientation on transition management with international best practices and experience sharing) to the lead national consultant (national team) in udertaking tasks related to development of transition management plan for the Government of Nepal for ensuring smooth transition of service functions and staff and delivery of public services and minimizing risk of disruptions in the these processes during federalization of administration in the state restructure process of the country.

Period of assignment/services (if applicable): 25 days to be spread over 3 months (January 2015 – March 2015), on an intermittent basis.
Duty Station: Kathmandu with possibility of field visits outside Kathmandu.
