| Overview : Subject: Invitation to a Tender for the construction and rehabilitation works for “Al Tin Farm Products, Skaff Dairy Farm and Rawabi Taanayel located in the Bekaa Valley of Lebanon.
Dear Sir,
UNIDO invites you to submit a Tender in competition, on a LUMP SUM basis, for the Rehabilitation Works of the above mentioned project, and remedying any defects therein in accordance with the Conditions of Contract and UNIDO’s Requirements.
The document provided for the purpose of the Tender are as follows:
a. Conditions of Contract
b. UNIDO’s Requirements comprising :
- Specifications and Report;
- Drawings;
- Proposed contract sum Analysis (B.O.Q)
Tender documents are available at the UNIDO office (refer to address mentioned below) and can be obtained as of 9:00 AM on the 30th of September 2015.
1. The Tender shall be delivered before closing time of the official working hours (5:00pm) on the 5th of October, 2015.
2. The Tender shall be irrevocable for a period of sixty (60) days with effect from the latest date fixed for receiving Tenders.
3. Commencement of the works shall be effected within Seven (7) days from the date of receipt of Notice to Commence.
4. The Period of Completion calculated from the dated of Notice to Commence is one month (31 days).
5. We will not be bound to accept the lowest or any tender nor to assign a reason for the rejection of any Tender.
6. Since the civil works will be in the Bekaa Valley of Lebanon, it is recommended, for ease of implementation, that the bidder has an office or representative in the Bekaa.
7. The Bidder must submit with his offer a letter of cooperation with an insurance company covering the design and execution of the works and remedying any defects therein in accordance with the Conditions of Contract.
8. Bidder must submit a written offer for the items listed in the BoQ and shall be submitted by mail to the following address:
