Overview : The United Nations Development Programme/ Programme of Assistance to the Palestinian People (UNDP/PAPP), the Employer, hereby invites for application from suitably experienced and established Contractors, for prequalifying for invitation to bid for the construction, installation, commissioning, putting into service and operating the Khan Younis Waste Water Treatment Plant, Phase 1, (KY WWTP). The above works are to be constructed in Khan Younis Governorate in Gaza Strip in the State of Palestine. The works will be funded by: - The Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development through the Islamic Development Bank;
- The Government of Japan;
- The United Nations Development Programme.
It is intended to establish a list of prequalified contractors who wish to participate in tendering for the construction of works. It is expected that the tenders will be invited from the prequalified Contractors in early 2016, that the construction works will commence during 2016 and completed in 27 months + the one year operation after commissioning and maintenance period. The Khan Younis waste water treatment plant, Phase I, will be capable of treating an average flow of 26, 656 m3/day. It is intended that the works will be included in a single contract. Contractors may apply for inclusion of the selected list of tenderers for the Contract. Tenderers will only be invited from prequalified contractors whose names will be included in the selected short list. The Contractor shall be an international private company (based outside the state of Palestine) as individual bidder (Individual applicant). Consortiums and Joint Venture proposals will not be accepted. The Contractor must obligatory be specialized in WWTP equipment, installation and WWTP civil works. |
