Overview : UNDP Bahrain continues to have strong partnership with the national stakeholders in contributing to the achievement of the national priorities in terms of Good Governance, Energy and Environment, Empowerment of Women and Human Rights. In addition to the technical assistance, UNDP country office is assisting national partners to facilitate the implementation of these different projects and the achievements of the expected results, through assisting in procurement of goods and services and also in making payments on behalf on the implementing partners after receiving requests from national project counterpart focal point or director/project manager. The premise of NIM is that UNDP is entrusting a Government institution to manage UNDP resources. Therefore, the overarching objective of the audit exercise is to provide UNDP with an assurance as to whether the resources are being properly utilized through the audit of UNDP financial statements, which are referred to as Combined Delivery Reports (CDR) for the purposes described in the project document and work plans. |
