| Overview : UNDP Vietnam seeks proposals from firms/organizations/institutions for Enhancement of a digital database and atlas of rural infrastructure for the Northern Mountainous Region of Viet Nam. The specific objectives of the assignment are to: - Extend the geographic coverage of the current MARD database to cover all remaining agriculturally-related rural infrastructure in the 15 northern provinces including Bắc Giang, Bắc Kạn, Cao Bằng, Hà Giang, Lạng Sơn, Thái Nguyên, Tuyên Quang, Vĩnh Phúc, Lai Châu, Điện Biên, Sơn La, Lào Cai, Yên Bái, Phú Thọ and Hòa Bình
- Develop printed thematic atlas maps for 2 provinces which can be used by local government officers in planning, field visits and decision making.
- Strengthen the capacities of related stakeholders in the use and application of these maps through written and verbal instructions.
