| Overview : Call for Proposal “Clean Kurdistan in One Day Campaign” - UNDP Country Office - Iraq Overall and Specific Objectives The overall objective of the campaign is to make citizens aware of their role in preserving free of trash region by raising awareness and involving them in collection of illegally disposed waste from arround the region. Specific objectives of the assignment are: Raise awareness of the general public in KRI of the best practices of waste management in Europe and the region. Raise awareness in preserving environment and environmental implications of the waste disposal. Mobilize the community to participate on voluntary basis to clean areas that are with waste disposal and achieve. Prevent future waste disposal and maintain trash free territory; Collect as much as possible waste disposed illegally in participatory and cheaper way. Involve at least 15,000 volunteers, NGOs, citizens and public institutions
