| Overview : The following consultancy has been readvertised. United Nations Volunteers (UNV) Bonn, Germany hereby invites qualifiied consultants to submit a Proposal to this Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Partnerships Forum Coordinating Consultant Ref 0073154. Summary On 13 – 14 October 2016, UNV will host the second UNV Partnerships Forum (the Forum) to explore the theme ‘Revitalizing Partnerships: Volunteerism for the Sustainable Development Goals’. The multi-stakeholder Forum will bring together representatives from governments, UN agencies, volunteer-involving organizations and civil society to address the role of partnerships in identifying new and innovative ways of achieving the SDGs through volunteerism. This Forum will build upon the first UNV Partnerships Forum, successfully hosted on 30 September and 1 October 2014. This Forum began a new era of strategic engagement with partners, in order to implement the UNV Strategic Framework 2014-17 and to mobilize programme resources. It was well received by partners to better understand the full range of UNV’s interventions, products and services. To help with ensuring that the content and process of this conference meets the expectations of the different stakeholders, UNV is now recruiting a Coordinator in support of the Forum. The consultant will be responsible for the following tasks: - Organize, participate in and provide secretariat duties for the 2016 Partnerships Forum Logistics and Content taskforces.
- Oversee and coordinate the development and finalizing of the content and logistics for the taskforce.
- Follow up from the conference to ensure satisfactory completion of the event and acknowledgement of key participants
