Overview : UNDP Vietnam seeks 01 qualified national firm/institution/organization to provide Vulnerability Assessment and downscaling of Landslide Risk Mapping in the context of Climate Change for 13 project provinces. The objective of this assignment are: - Using the existing methodology and approach, replicate the vulnerability assessment for all types of infrastructure (i.e. rural roads, embankments, reservoirs, weirs and irrigation canals) in 13 provinces by UNDP Project. This includes replicating the existing methodology and indicators developed by the project for provincial study (the methodology used for VA and Risk Mapping for two demonstration provinces: Son La and Bac Kan). The field data collection should be designed and administered in such a way using smart-phone applications or innovative data-collection tools to allow UNDP/MARD to monitor the data collection progress in real-time;
- Provide a detailed assessment of the current and future landslide risk posed to rural infrastructure by trends in rainfall, landsliding. This will include providing a GIS compatible database of all data, maps and analyses;
- Upload the information about vulnerability and risk (landsliding and flashflood) to the WebGIS based tool so that it can be publically accessed.
