Overview :

Supply, Delivery and installation of warehouse rooftop air cooling system

see attached clarifications for RFQ 042/17

  1. Position of the Systems.

  1. From the drawings provided it is assumed, please advise that this is correct; correct

i.20kw system is for the Warehouse Annexure Area

ii.40kw system is for the Warehouse Extension Area

  1. Is the roof system able to support two package units which would have weights exceeding 400Kg each? The units can be placed incrusted in the wall with the weight supported by the wall and a metal frame construction

i.If units are to be placed on the ground or on stands where would they need to be located receiving side or delivery side?

  1. Ambient temp.

  1. The ambient temp in Juba can reach +40 °c, inside the warehouse roof these temperatures will exceed 65°c.  This assumption is for the count of the bidder

  1. Package Units.

  1. Are these units to be cooling only units? These will be the only units

  1. Given the area supplied in the drawings the Units specified will be well under capacity. This assumption is for the count of the bidder and does not take into account the specific insulation and radiation barriers

  1. The specification says, please confirm this is correct (I believe they should be greater airflow on the bigger system);

i.Cooling capacity of 20 kW Cooling capacity: 19.9kw, R410A, Air flow:4000m3/h,   ESP: 150Pa

ii.Cooling capacity of 40 kW Cooling capacity: 39.7kw, R410A, Air flow:2200m3/h,   ESP: 250Pa

The normal airflow for this equipment is for the 40KW is 2200m3/h while for the 20KW is 1100m3/h. The specific equipment should have a specific stronger motor build in so that the standard to be reached is equivalent to ESP: 500Pa and flow of air is sufficient for the height and volume of the store.

  1. Electrical Power supply.

Please can location of the power supply be provided on the drawings as well as roof grid and lighting layout.  Please find attached
