Overview :

Opportunity to become an Agribusiness Supplier Development Consultant.

The Nigeria Agribusiness Suppliers Development Programme (ASDP) is being implemented in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD) and the Nigerian Incentive-Based Risk Sharing System for Agricultural Lending (NIRSAL) in the Country by an international organization. The ADSP addresses issues related to productivity, efficiency, financial management and quality in small and medium enterprises by reinforcing business relationships, aligning priorities and promoting goodwill between large companies and related smaller economic actors.

In relation to this the programme will be training consultants on the Suppliers Development Methodology (SDM). The selected candidates who eventually pass the SDM training will be eligible to work as consultants on this internationally renowned program with the subject companies to improve their businesses. The training will be held in late June/early July, 2017 in Abuja. We are looking for experienced professionals from the private sector/businesses with operational background in marketing, finance, operation, production, quality assurance and certification etc. The candidates can be currently employed while on the training and subsequent assignments working as consultants.

This training is available for participants willing to work with agricultural firms in Northern and Southern Nigeria.
