| Overview : INVITATION TO BID Contracting of Services of a General Contractor For the construction of a Two-Storey Community Evacuation Center (CEC) In Barangay Balocawe, Abuyog, Leyte, Philippines The Procurement Team of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) invites contractors to apply for eligibility and to bid for the construction of a Two-Storey Community Evacuation Center (CEC), an activity under the “Resilience and Preparedness toward Inclusive Development (RAPID) Programme.” The RAPID Programme aims to establish a permanent and safe evacuation center in Barangay Balocawe, Abuyog, Leyte, and provide adequate access to climate-resilient evacuation center to support the long-term preparedness and disaster risk mitigation of the community. In this context, the project requires the services of a contractor to construct a Two-Storey CEC to serve as temporary dwelling for evacuees in times of disaster and calamities in Barangay Balocawe, Abuyog, Leyte.
