| Overview : Description of the assignment: Social Cohesion and Democratic Participation Project/UNDP is in the process of establishing Long Term Agreement (LTA) with national consultant – Technical specialist to provide technical support and guidance to the project team and work in close coordination with and under the guidance of the Team Leader, Democratic Transition Unit (DTU). Under the supervision and guidance of the Team Leader, DTU, and within the parameters of the broader programme framework, the consultant will provide strategic direction to the activities, policies, approaches and partnerships of all the pillars. The consultant will also design and oversee the implementation and reporting on all programmatic aspects including training activities, technical support to Risk Identification and Risk Mitigation initiatives and efforts to strengthen the relevant capacities of national entities. S/he will also act as the GESI, Communications and M&E focal person.
