| Overview : REQUEST FOR INFORMATION 02/2017 (RFI) FROM CSO/NGO Ref. TIGER Project on CSO engagement for Community Sustainable Financing This is a Request for Information (RFI) from national CSOs/NGOs for potential partnership with UNDP and the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation (DNP) in delivering outputs under the project “Strengthening Conservation and Incentives for Wildlife Conservation in the Western Forest Complex,” requiring expertise and experience in the area of Innovative Community Livelihoods with Sustainable Financing, as per attached document. Key qualifications needed to be demonstrated with the documents submitted are the following: - Experiences of working with DNP in the above areas;
- Experiences of working on community outreaches, especially with the enclave communities in Thung Yai Naresuan East, and Thung Yai Naresuan West;
- Proven records on establishing conservation agreements with communities living in or around protected areas;
- Proven records on developing sustainable production and alternative livelihoods management and financial plans with communities living in protected areas.
