| Overview : UNDP is in the process of enlisting the services of a competent company, to provide cleaning and fumigation works and services to its facilities located in Kampala, Gulu and Yumbe for a period of 36 months. The contract will be for initial One year, renewable up to a maximum of 3 years. The contractor is expected to provide premise cleaning services to UNDP Office in Kampala, UNDP Office in Yumbe, UNDSS and UN Clinic Offices in Kampala, UNDSS Gulu office and OHCHR Office in Gulu, located on plots 11, Yusuf Lule road, 4 Moyo Close Kololo, 23 Eden Road, Gulu and 13 Samuel Doe road, Gulu, through a team of trained, hardworking, security conscious workers, comprising of several cleaners and gardeners, at any one time during the stipulated working hours. Summary of services: Routine and regular cleaning of the interior of UNDP Offices, UNDSS Offices, UN Clinic and OHCHR Office and advised facilities including floors, walls, glass panes, door and window frames, ceilings, toilets, kitchenettes and removal of cobwebs; Dusting and polishing of office and/or home furniture at UNDP Offices, UNDSS Offices, UN Clinic and OHCHR Office facilities; Cleaning of the exterior of UNDP Offices, UNDSS Offices, UN Clinic and OHCHR Office including gardens, parking yards, drive-ways and perimeter walls; Collecting and disposal of rubbish and other forms of waste including paper waste,leaves and grass; Trimming of grass, pruning of flowersand ornamental plants and removal of weeds from flower beds and the entire compound; Periodical fumigation of UNDP Offices, UNDSS Offices, UN Clinic and OHCHR Office to eliminate pests, insects and similar infestations; Provide basic casual labor at UNDP Offices, UNDSS Offices, UN Clinic and OHCHR Office, as and when so called upon,including off-loading of deliveries, collection of supplies from stores and distribution to advised offices; Cleaning/washing of official UNDP vehicles.
