Overview :

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Mongolia office announces the procurement notice for assignment of NATIONAL CONSULTANT – MONITORING AND EVALUATION OFFICER for “Towards a Professional and Citizen-Centered Civil Service in Mongolia” project.

Contract duration: 80 working days until 31 December 2018

A.      Qualifications of the successful candidate

Education:

·         Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in public policy, public administration, management, sociology, statistics, econometrics, law and other related fields.

·         Specialized training in project management, monitoring and evaluation, and qualitative data collection methods are an asset.

Experience:

·         A minimum 5 years of work experience in areas closely related to

o   Project planning, results monitoring, data collection and analyses;

o   Managing evaluation and data collection teams;

o   Report writing and results reporting;

·         Prior experience working with or for a government organization is an asset;

Language and computer skills:

·         Excellent knowledge of English and Mongolian, both spoken and written;

·         Excellent command of MS Office;

B.      Recommended Presentation of Offer

The following documents should be requested:

a)       Letter of Confirmation of Interest to conduct the assignment (downloadable from UNDP Mongolia website);

b)      P11 application form, indicating all past experience from similar projects, as well as the contact details (email and telephone number) of the Candidate and at least three (3) professional references;

c)       Brief description of why the individual considers him/herself as the most suitable for the assignment, and a proposed work plan and methodology on how they will approach and complete the assignment. 

d)      Financial Proposal that indicates the all-inclusive fixed total contract price, supported by a breakdown of costs in MNT.
