| Overview : Dear potential bidder, UNDP Vietnam seeks for Technical support for the development of a highly automated and quality - vibration molding concrete brick press machine. The objective of the consultancy assignment is to successfully design and test a high quality, highly automated, vibration molding CBB press machine, with a minimum annual installed production capacity of 80 million SBU bricks, assuming 2 shifts per day. For purpose of benchmark, the press should have features, productivity and quality at least equivalent to world class brands and adapted for Vietnamese conditions. The product design should integrate process planning considerations also through Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles. The design should enable a lowered production cost so that the selling price can be expected to be 20-25% lowered compared to import prices.
