Overview :

UNDP Vietnam is seeking for 01 International Consultant for developing TECHNICAL STANDARDS FOR Green Chemistry in Vietnam

The objective of this assignment is:

  1. To develop basic technical standard (TCCS) for each of the six industrial sectors supported by the project, with aim to reduce the use or release of POPs/U-POPs, mercury and/or other toxic chemicals into environment. More specifically, the objective of the assignment is: To develop basic technical standards for six industrial sectors listed in Annex 1, in order to introduce and promote application of Green Chemistry principles in these targeted industrial sectors. The proposed basic standards (TCCS) will be endorsed by the industrial sectors themselves and applied by industries on a voluntary basis; and
  2. To propose financial / market-based incentive mechanisms specific for each industrial sector to be subsequently endorsed by MOIT/VINACHEMIA to encourage implementation of the proposed GC technical standards.
