Request for Proposal: PUBLIC RELATIONS (PR) FIRM TO DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT A PROMOTIONS PLAN FOR THE YEAR OF THE PROTECTED AREAS CAMPAIGN

The United Nations Development Program through its Biodiversity Finance Initiative (BIOFIN) Project, has been supporting the Philippine Government in articulating the financial resources it needs to maintain a healthy biodiversity portfolio in-country. One of the finance solutions that will be implemented is increasing visitation revenues from protected areas through the Year of the Protected Areas (PAs) Campaign.

This Request for Proposal aims to contract the services of  a Communication/PR Firm to develop and execute the promotions plan for the “Year of the Protected Areas” campaign of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources. This campaign aims to increase the public’s awareness on the economic and ecological value of protected areas to instill an appreciation amongst the new generation of Filipinos  and result in increased visitation rates. Specifically, this engagement seeks to raise awareness on the economic and ecological values of protected areas that will encourage the public to visit protected areas, thereby, increase their revenues.
