Introduction :

Objective of the Assignment

The Sawasya II programme seeks the services of a local media company specialised in visual content and video production to take High Resolution photos and produce 3 videos aiming to:

  • Explain and promote the Mizan Court Management System and the digitization of justice sector process and focus on the impact of the system within the Palestinian context.
  • Promote the expansion of the Mizan model beyond Palestinian courts and justice institutions to international community including but not limited to Arab states.
  • Help position Palestine as a leader and provider of knowledge on the court management front hence contribute to transferring the technology overseas including in the field of e-justice to create oversee cooperation (South-South Cooperation) – this is to be achieved through documenting real time stories/testimonials for the community regarding the impact of the Mizan II and importance of transferring this technology to other contexts.

Scope of work

  • The videos will be produced during a 2-month period, aiming to produce new videos that could replace the existing version of the video created in 2019.
  • The 3 videos are aimed to raise awareness on Mizan II, to capture the e-services provided by the system and focus on the impact of the system on the involved institutions/justice actors and beneficiaries
  • The videos will be shot mainly in West Bank Area, in different locations including but not limited to High Judicial Council, Attorney General’s Office, Supreme Judge Department, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Social Development, Palestinian civil police (mainly judicial police), Sawasya/UNDP offices and other development partners offices (as required/appliable).
  • Focus on the main component of the transformation of the justice system; the formalization of e-Justice, which connects regular courts to prosecution offices as well as to various Ministries, including the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Finance and Planning and any other involved parties.
  • The video should highlight the enhanced connectivity that has contributed to improving quality delivery across the justice chain and how it is providing Palestinian citizens with efficient, accessible, and inter-connected justice services.
