Description of the Assignment:  The need for a clear long-term strategy is necessary not only to remedy the situation which is currently obtaining in the office of the DPP, but it will facilitate alignment with modern legal developments and in advancing the administrative framework. The strategic planning process will help identify the gaps/grey areas, anomalies and challenges wholistically whilst also proposing a solution and way forward for efficiency and effectiveness of the office.  Specifically, the assignment will contribute to of the following objectives: -

§  StStrengthened capacity, effectiveness and efficiency, and inter-institutional collaboration between the office and key stakeholders. 

§  AlAlignment of human capital and other resources obtaining in the office with the Strategic Plan, including developing staff capacities and streamlining financial resources towards its implementation. 

§  A A well-coordinated framework for strengthened independence of the office in performing its mandate.

 

Period of assignment/services is 3 months
