Title: Mentoring Programme for Women Serving in Mid-Level Positions in UNDP in Latin America and the Caribbean

Duty Station: Home-base/Virtual

Estimated Start Date: 1 November 2023

Duration: 12 months

Scope of tender:

The company is expected to develop and deliver a mentoring programme for a cohort of 32 participants to support the leadership development of high potential UNDP female national staff currently serving in mid-level positions in Latin America and the Caribbean. The programme will be implemented over the course of one year (including prep) and will benefit from lessons learned from other Women’s Mentoring Programmes undertaken by other Regional Bureaus of UNDP.

The programme will focus on providing the participants with valuable insights to cultivate an effective relationship with their mentors and supervisors and develop and sustain a network with peers and senior managers across the organization. By engaging in the programme, the participants will learn how to leverage their mentor relationship and the relationship with direct supervisors and their own networks and gain key insights that will support their leadership development and in turn their advancement within UNDP.

Participants will learn how they can leverage their strengths to best serve themselves and UNDP, demonstrate competence and confidence in decision making, foster team building, innovation, manage ambiguity and deliver results.
