As part of the operational requirements to have uninterrupted power supply at UN House Abuja, Diesel Oil (AGO) is routinely procured for replenishment of the stock for fuelling the heavy-duty generators installed at UN House Abuja. This is for providing back-up electricity power supply. UNDP NIGERIA on behalf of its UN sister agencies; wishes to enter into Long Term Agreement with one or more suppliers for supply of Diesel Oil. UNDP NIGERIA envisages entering into the contract for an initial one (1) year-period renewable for two additional calendar years, subject to satisfactory performance evaluation.
The estimated volume of Diesel Oil consumption is stated in the Schedule of Requirement and Technical Specification Annex. UNDP Nigeria (the purchaser) does not guarantee that similar volumes would be ordered during the next two years. The purchaser reserves the right to go into the agreement with more than one company as a result of the present tendering procedure.
The contractor shall not impose a minimum guarantee on volume on the part of the UNDP. UNDP sister agencies reserve the right to utilize other sources at their own discretion if deemed necessary.
