| Introduction : UNDP seeks to engage a service provider (civil society organization, non-government organization, or private sector foundation) with credible experience in community development, reintegration, economic empowerment, and private sector engagement. TARGET OUTCOMES AND OBJECTIVES Broadly, this initiative seeks to contribute towards the following outcomes: 1. Improved economic opportunities and income generation for former combatants and conflict-affected individuals 2. Enhanced social cohesion and community development through collaborative projects between the private sector, financing institutions and communities 3. Reduction in the likelihood of conflict resurgence by addressing underlying economic and social vulnerabilities 4. Increased private sector and financing institutions engagement in sustainable development and peacebuilding initiatives 5. More nuanced and positive understanding from the private sector, and financing institutions of the capabilities and potential within Bangsamoro communities Increased interest from the private sector and financing institutions to engage with and invest in these communities |
