Introduction
REQUEST FOR QUOTATION
Long Term Agreement for Printing and Copying Services for UNDP Sri Lanka
UNDP Sri Lanka wish to establish Long Term Agreement with multiple service providers for provisioning of Designing Printing and copying services required in respect to its own program implementation. The volume of printing services for UNDP Sri Lanka CO and UNDP projects for the past 3 years was approximately USD 150,000 (about 50,000 USD annually).
The LTA does not form a financial obligation or commitment from UNDP at the time the LTA contract is signed and that such an agreement is non-exclusive. When a specific need arises, the successful supplier with lowest rate per requires category of item will be approached and be provided with a specific TOR/specification and deliverables (and time frame) but still within the scope of the responsibilities stated in the LTA. Financial commitments will only be established each time a Purchase Order (PO)for the specific TOR / specifications for the supplier is committed.
The LTA unit prices are valid for a period mutually agreed between the UNDP and the contractor (minimum price validity period is one year). UNDP will make the payments in Sri Lanka Rupee (LKR) to all contractors and prices quoted in USD will be converted to the LKR in accordance with the prevailing UN operational rate of exchange at the time of PO issuance.
Link to UN operational rate of exchange: https://treasury.un.org/operationalrates/OperationalRates.php
This LTA has a cumulative ceiling amount that may accrue to the supplier during the life of the LTA, but said amount shall remain as an upper limit, and must not and cannot be interpreted nor understood as neither a financial commitment nor guarantee of business volume.
UNDP reserves the right to enter into LTA with more than one bidder and the right to split the award of contract among the LTA holders if it is in UNDP’s best interest.
Service Providers are permitted to bid either for one LOT or both LOTs.
LOT 1 - Digital Printing
LOT 2 - Offset Printing
