Introduction : The UN system in the Pacific is based on the work of three multi-country offices (MCO), each led by a Resident Coordinator and a joint UN Country Team (UNCT) with MCO Fiji covering Fiji, , Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu; MCO Micronesia covering Federated States of Micronesia, Kiribati, Nauru, Palau, and Republic of Marshall Islands; and MCO Samoa covering Cook Islands, Niue, Samoa, and Tokelau.
The selected consultant will support OHCHR PRO engagement in the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) for the Pacific 2023-2027. The UNSDCF guides planning, implementation, monitoring, reporting and evaluation of collective UN support for achieving the 2030 Development Agenda for Sustainable Development in the Pacific.
