Description of the Assignment: The National Consultant will identify options and establish MoUs for private-sector partnerships for CIEWS and ;
· Initial engagement report on the outcomes of the consultations, with recommendations for specific partners and models to be integrated into the project design.
· Detailed report on the specific actions of private partners within the project design, including specific roles, responsibilities, and financial contributions of each partner.
· Develop draft MOUs outlining the principles, terms, and expectations of the PPP for each of the private sector partners committing to the project.
· Technical support to the project development team for addressing UNDP and GCF comments.
Reporting of Duties:
The consultant will report primarily to the UNDP and the appointed officer from the CCDA, as well as other members of the Project Preparation Team, as appropriate. An in-country mission will be organised by UNDP to hold necessary consultations with private sector partners.
Period of assignment/services: 20 working days over a period of 3 months.
Proposals should be submitted directly to the portal no later than the indicated deadline.
