Introduction : Scope of the Tender
The Regional Forum on Conflict Prevention and Peacebuilding will provide a space for UNDP Country Office staff, partners and external experts to gather and take stock of the conflict environment and lessons learnt in the region, develop approaches to more effectively mainstream conflict sensitivity into our work and shape our regional collaboration to implement the new Regional Programme on Conflict Prevention and Peacebuilding in Europe and Central Asia. The event will include plenary sessions, group exercises and workshops, with the objective of identifying a clear pathway with concrete activities to strengthen UNDP engagement for Conflict Prevention & Peacebuilding (CPPB) in the region. 13th November, start 9 am – 6.30 pm, 100 participants 14th November, start 9 am – 6.30 pm, 100 participants 15th November, start 9 am – 6.30 pm, 100 participants The residential venue should be of at least a 3-star standard, in Istanbul, easily accessible by public transport and allowing for drop-off and parking options. The residential venue must have the following characteristics: Room (1) facilities large enough to accommodate approximately 100 participants for the security briefing and general sessions, including ample space for movement. A second room close or adjacent to this room for approximately 10 participants to hold side .
