| Introduction : The Green Climate Fund (GCF), through the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), is providing financial support and expertise to assist the Government of Mauritius in achieving the targets set out in the Long-Term Energy Strategy. In this context, the project – Accelerating the transformational shift to a low-carbon economy in the Republic of Mauritius - is being implemented since July 2017 at national level and is financed under the GCF. One of the key tasks under the project is to improve grid absorption capacity (from 60MW to 185MW) of the national electricity network. The objective of this consultancy is to carry out a detailed technical survey of public educational buildings in Mauritius and Rodrigues, as per a list of 230 (+/- 5) educational institutions (including 25 in Rodrigues) having confirmed their interest in the scheme, in view of assessing their individual suitability for receiving a rooftop solar PV system under the Phase II of the GCF project Please indicate whether you intend to submit a bid by creating a draft response without submitting directly in the system.
