With reference to the Invitation to Bid (ITB) dated 26 October 2023, UNDP Yemen now wishes to issue an amendment to reflect the following:

-        To provide answers for the questions raised by bidders during the site visit held on 14^th November 2023.

 -        Bill of Quantity (BOQ) has been updated: Bidders are advised to review and use the updated one while preparing the bid (Updated Bill Of Quantities November 21, 2023 For The Rehabilitation Works Of Oil Berth Number 1 (Hodeidah Port). The updated BOQ should be downloaded from the system, filled in properly and reattached in the system.

 -          Extend the bid submission deadline to read 18 December 2023 instead of 30 November 2023 (Date and Time: As specified in the system - Time zone indicated in the system is New York Time zone).

SECTION 1: LETTER OF INVITATION

United Nations Development Programme, hereinafter referred to as UNDP  hereby invites prospective bidders to submit a bid in accordance with the General Conditions of Contract and the Schedule of Requirements as set out in this Invitation to Bid (ITB) for Rehabilitation of the Oil Berth No 1, Hodedidah Port, Hodeidah, Yemen.

Note: Please note that the site visit is mandatory. Bidders not attending the site visit will NOT be considered for further evaluation and bids will be rejected.

The site visit is aimed to provide the bidders the opportunity to have a better understanding of the requirement /Scope of work before sending the formal bid to UNDP. Bidders can raise any technical question during the site visit.

Bidders are advised to attend the site visit (at their own cost and responsibility). Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held as per the above schedule containing date, time and location. Bidders will be required to sign an attendance form. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

Bidders interested in attending the site visit must send the following information to the above-mentioned email addresses not later than 12:30 pm on Sunday, 12^th November 2023: Participant’s Name, Nationality, ID/Passport No., Company Name.

The email subject must be “UNDP-YEM-00202- Site Visit”.

If you are interested in submitting a bid in response to this ITB, please prepare your bid in accordance with the requirements and procedure as set out in this ITB and submit it by the deadline for submission of bids set out in this document and in the supplier portal.

Please indicate whether you intend to submit a bid by creating a draft response without submitting directly in the system. This will enable the system to send notifications in case of amendments of the tender requirements. Should you require further clarifications, kindly communicate using the messaging functionality in the system. Offers must be submitted directly in the system following this link: http://supplier.quantum.partneragencies.org/ using the profile you may have in the portal. In case you have never registered before, follow the Supplier Portal Registration Link    to register a profile in the system. Do not create a new profile if you already have one.
