As the leading UN development agency committed to realizing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Bangladesh, UNDP is actively seeking a professional photographer to visually encapsulate the essence of the SDGs through powerful portraits. Through these striking portraits, featuring diverse individuals holding SDG placards and actively engaging in actions related to the SDGs, our goal is to bridge the gap between personal commitment and the broader SDGs, effectively raising awareness about the imperative for individual contributions towards achieving these global goals. Join us in this meaningful endeavor to inspire, educate, and engage the public in the pursuit of sustainable development and inclusivity.

Objectives:

The national consultant will be working with the UNDP country office’s communications team to promote the SDGs through portraits. Under the supervision and overall guidance of the Head of Communications (HoC) and will perform the following tasks: Scope of Work for Consultant – Portrait Photography on SDGs

Project Overview: The consultant will play a pivotal role in visually capturing the relationship between human beings and nature within the context of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This project aims to raise awareness about the interconnectedness of human actions, the environment, and the SDGs through compelling portraits of individuals holding SDG placards and engaging in SDG-oriented activities. The consultant's work will contribute to promoting sustainable development and biodiversity conservation in Bangladesh.

Period of assignment/services: 30 working days over a period of 4 months

 

The proposal should be submitted directly to the portal no later than the indicated deadline. Any requests for clarification must be sent in writing via messaging functionality in the portal. UNDP will respond in writing, including an explanation of the query, without identifying the source of the inquiry.
