Introduction :
This Invitation to bid (ITB) is for the procurement and Installation of mercury-free gold processing equipment: 
  • Supply of Mercury-Free Gold Processing and Gravimetric Equipment for Crushed and Milled Gold Ore. This is a series of mercury-free gold processing equipment for crushed and milled gold ore slurry concentrate to gold recovery. 
  • Installation and commissioning of the Mercury-Free Gold Processing and Gravimetric Equipment.  
  • Conduct training on the operation/usage of the equipment to the six (6) recipient project mining groups. 
We invite you to a pre-bidding conference on the ITB for the procurement of mercury-free gold processing equipment. The webinar will be held on Friday 24th November 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Nairobi Kenya, Local Time. 


Deadline for submitting requests for clarifications / questions: 27 November 2023, 10:59 Nairobi Kenya Local Time.

Bidder must send their inquiries and request for clarifications using the messaging functionality in the portal. ATTENTION: BIDS SHALL NOT BE SUBMITTED TO ANY EMAIL ADDRESS BUT ONLY THROUGH THE SYSTEM.

Bidders shall be allowed to quote prices for one or more lots identified in Section 5: Schedule of Requirements. However, Bidders must offer 100% of the items and 100% of the quantities per item specified per lot. Evaluation will be done per lot. 

Deadline is indicated in the supplier portal. In case of discrepancies between the deadline indicated in the portal and deadline indicated elsewhere, the deadline in the portal will prevail. It is the responsibility of the bidder to be informed on the tender deadline.

Please indicate whether you intend to submit a bid by creating a draft response without submitting directly in the system. This will enable the system to send notifications in case of amendments of the tender requirements. Should you require further clarifications, kindly communicate using the messaging functionality in the system. Offers must be submitted directly in the system following this link: http://supplier.quantum.partneragencies.org  using the profile you may have in the portal. In case you have never registered before, you can register a profile using the registration link shared via the procurement notice and following the instructions in guides available in UNDP website: https://www.undp.org/procurement/business/resources-for-bidders.  Do not create a new profile if you already have one. Use the forgotten password feature in case you do not remember the password or the username from previous registration.
