Description of the Assignment:
Recently, UNDP launched the global programme, EQUANOMICS, aims to engage with Ministries of Finance and Tax Authorities in 100 countries, including Bangladesh, to implement the Gender Equality Seal and undertake tax reforms with UNDP's support by 2027.
In Bangladesh, UNDP is keen to work closely with the Ministry of Finance (MoF) to facilitate the gender equality seal certification process and develop National Action Plans for Fiscal and Tax reforms, subsequently implementing the action plans.
Overall, UNDP is committed to mainstream human rights, gender equality, climate and environment issues into national planning and budgeting process to support the country in fostering sustainable growth and development.
Period of assignment/services: 75 days over a period of 06 Months (December 2023 - May 2024)
