Description of the Assignment:
The objective of the assignment is to provide technical assistance in implementation and safety audit of in accordance with the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) signed with 5 Air Conditioning and 1 chiller manufacturing companies under Bangladesh’s Stage II HPMP project. The use of flammable substances such as propane, isobutene etc., requires substantial changes in the production facilities and practices. Conformity to strict safety standards is a requirement and considering this, following safety concept is proposed to be applied: Classify all identified hazard areas following IEC 60079-10-1:2020. In addition, the consultant will ensure proper implementation and certification of Milestone 1,2, 3, 4 and 5 under the MoA with the six companies of the HPMP II project.
Period of assignment/services: 45 days over a period of 09 Months (January 2024-October 2024)
