| Introduction : Country: Vientiane Captial, Lao PDR Description of the Assignment: Under the supervision of the DIC/MPI and the Inclusive Growth Unit, UNDP Lao PDR, and in close coordination with relevant parties, the assistant is expected to provide support in the following services: 1. Provide support to prepare background document and materials for the RTIM and post-RTIM activities. 2. Provide support to coordinate activities with Government Line Ministries and Development Partners. The successful applicant will be expected to be responsible for the following: 1. Provide support and assistance to prepare background document and materials for the RTIM and post-RTIM activities - Assist in summarizing background document and materials for the proposed events including review of the concept notes, talking points, presentations, and relevant speeches.
- Assist in compiling reports from SWGs as one of the material documents for RTIM.
- Assist in drafting press releases and communication and outreach materials related to the proposed events.
- Assist in the preparations of the minutes of event and consolidating into a report.
- Assist in the translations of above-mentioned materials as needed.
- Assist in compiling the 2023 RTIM report.
- Provide support to update the contents of the RTM website.
- Assist in facilitating the RTIM 2023 events.
2. Provide support to coordinate the activities with Government Line Ministries - Support coordination, dialogues and engagements with Department of International Cooperation (DIC), Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) to execute the RTIM event and post-RTIM activities.
- Document and disseminate coordination meeting minutes in a timely manner.
- Support other relevant tasks required from DIC-MPI and UNDP.
Period of assignment/services: 22 working days over 1 month.
