Description of the Assignment:

Currently, 3 UN agencies including UNDP, UN Women and UNCDF in collaboration with Government of Netherlands are implementing Women’s Empowerment for Inclusive Growth (WING) programme. Depending on the cash flows of the projects, various forms of capital can be unlocked as done during the pilot phase, including initiation grants from local government institutes (LGI)s, CSR fund grants and concessional loans from private sector. It has also discovered that there some untapped grants in under different resources which required to open for women easy access.

Anondomela entrepreneurs have been participating in the Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) for the last two years, organized by the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB). This participation has highlighted potential export opoortunities of some entrepreneurs. In response, there is a pressing need to identify entrepreneurs from Anondomela platform with the capacity to export, capacitate them and facilitate connections with suitable international buyers. To capitalize on this export potential, a strategic approach involves creating guidelines aligned with government policies in relevant countries and developing a cross border trade mapping for these entrepreneurs. This comprehensive strategy aims to enable and expand the scope of exporting activities, ensuring the sustained growth and success of Anondomela's entrepreneurs in the global market.
