| Introduction : Consultancy – Consultant for Review and analysis of governance structure - UNPRPD Technical Secretariat, BPPS/Governance Duty station: Home Based Expected start date: 1st March 2024 Expected Duration of Assignment: 8 months Description of the Assignment: The purpose of this procurement exercise is to contract an individual consultant that will facilitate the management response to the recent review of the UNPRPD governance structure, in preparation for the forthcoming update of the Strategic Operational Framework 2025-2030. UNPRPD MPTF is inviting proposals from reputable and qualified individuals with a track record and experience on evaluation of governance structures, facilitation of stakeholder consultation, and detailed financial analysis and projection. Key targets of this project are: - Facilitation of a participatory process with governance members, including, for example, interviews, focus groups and surveys.
- Support for the implementation of a management response to the recent review of the UNPRPD governance structure, including a detailed step-by-step restructuring and rotation process.
- Develop and update governance terms of reference.
- Develop a tool and processes for governance monitoring indicators.
- Present proposed management response and step-by-step restructuring and rotation process to the UNPRPD Policy Board.
- Conduct an analysis of the UNPRPD donor landscape, including a mapping of the donor landscape (private, foundations, public). Develop donor briefs for circa twenty donors.
- Support the development of a resource mobilization strategy.
