Country: Bangladesh Description of the Assignment: Gender Audit (GA) is a key gender equality tool for promoting organizational learning and practices on mainstreaming gender practically and effectively and creating gender-equitable work environments. GA is also an enabler for creating ongoing gender action planning and identifying challenges and opportunities for increasing gender skills and organizational equality. A GA of the UNDP’s systems, structures and operations is therefore needed to develop a baseline for future progress evaluation. identify critical gaps and barriers, and propose pathways to address them. The GA will also enhance the institutional capacity of UNDP Bangladesh CO to evaluate the activities from a gender perspective, thereby promoting gender equity and equality. In this context, the UNDP Bangladesh intends to conduct a comprehensive GA. As part of this initiative, UNDP Bangladesh is seeking the services of a National Consultant - Gender Expert to conduct a GA. Period of assignment/services: 15 February 2023 to 15 May 2023 Please note that this procurement process is being conducted through the new online tendering system of UNDP.
