The initial objectives of this assignment are to: - the Senior Advisor SDG and Social Protection Program is to coordinate with key governmental bodies like GED, ERD, and Finance Division to ensure effective implementation of social insurance, pension, and old age allowance programs, while also improving MIS and M&E systems. This role involves close collaboration with the Ministry of Social Welfare on PWDs and special allowances, monitoring Social Protection Programme implementation with the Cabinet Division, and conducting pilot visits in areas of need. Additionally, the Advisor will engage in drafting policies, producing opinion papers, and supporting workshops and conferences, aiming to enhance and sustain social protection initiatives.
Period of assignment/services: April to august 2024 Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline.
