| Introduction : Country: Mongolia Description of the Assignment: UNDP is looking for two(2) National Consultants for the IC/2024/010 - Integrating human right and gender in law enforcement assignment. The “Advancing Human Rights and Gender Equality in Law Enforcement in Mongolia” project will be implemented by UNDP in close collaboration with the national partners, including Ministry of Justice and Home Affairs (MOJHA), University of Internal Affairs (UIA), National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), and other agencies of law enforcement. The Project is funded by the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), US State Department, and will be implemented for two years from August 2023 to August 2025.The Project’s overall objective is to enhance human rights compliance of law enforcement practices in Mongolia, which are expected to be achieved through the following two outputs.
Therefore the consultants will i) to contribute towards the effort of strengthening competency-based, human rights and gender sensitive approach in law enforcement human resource management, namely, in job descriptions, promotions, performance, and staff training and development, and ii) to train qualified counselors and strengthen career planning and counseling services for law enforcement officers
Period of assignment/services (if applicable): 60 working days each over 01 May 2024 to 01 October 2024 Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline.
