| Introduction :
UNDP Vietnam is seeking for 01 qualified consulting firm/institute/organization for delivering a simulation of the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) session for young people in Vietnam and a debate tournament on thematic areas of the UPR. The purposes of these activities are: • Increase awareness and build capacity of young people and CSOs to effectively engage in the UPR process, to understand, follow up and advocate for the implementation of accepted recommendations made to Vietnam under the 3rd Cycle of UPR process and to prepare for their meaningful participation in the 4th Cycle of UPR of Viet Nam both in the national report consultations (2023, 2024) and the stakeholders report (September 2023). • Increase awareness and build capacity of young people and CSOs on two thematic areas of the UPR: the right to life and the right to fair trial, help them develop critical thinking, public speaking, and teamwork skills through organizing a debate tournament. The selection will be based on a competitive basis and will comply with UNDP procurement regulations.
