| Introduction : The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Viet Nam is looking for a National Consultant as a team leader to Review of lessons learned and best practices from installation of automatic hydro-meteorological early warning systems (HMEWS) in Vietnam’s coastal provinces and monitoring construction of 20 new HMEWS in Thua Thien Hue, Binh Dinh and Soc Trang for the Project "Viet Nam Climate Smart Coastal Communities (VNCSCC)", as described in the attached TORs. To achieve the first specific objective of the project, twenty automatic hydro-meteorological monitoring and early warning systems in the 3 provinces of Thua Thien Hue, Binh Dinh and Soc Trang, which will be installed and linked to higher level information systems. UNDP Vietnam is seeking a group of two national consultants (a team leader and a team member) to support UNDP and Vietnamese partners in the installation of these 20 HMEWS in the 3 provinces. This Procurement Notice is specifically to recruit the team leader for this assignment. Description of assignment: 59 working days for Team Leader from May 2024 - December 2025.
