Amendment

(1) Reference is made to the attached Addendum No.1 to the ITB issued on 02 July 2024, the answers for items 13.a and 13.c therein, are hereby replaced by the following answer: It is preferable that the contractor can arrange for providing a suitable pump for conducting the pumping test. However, if this is not possible, the contractor can use the main pump (supplied by the contractor) required in the tender documents, on his full responsibility, and to ensure the full protection of the pump from any damage or defect during the pumping test, and also the warranty must begin on the date of operation of the "installed" pump after the completion of the pumping test. (2) Reference is made to the attached Addendum No.1 to the ITB issued on 02 July 2024, regarding the answer for item 12 (on page 5/8) therein: We hereby reiterate that equivalency of proposed goods "'or equal approved' (is not restricted to any list) is accepted provided full technical compliance is achieved, as required and described on page No.7 of the addendum under “Technical Compliance of proposed goods”. (3) The deadline for submission of offers has been extended as indicated under “close date” for this Invitation to Bid (ITB).
